ger@robotnerdface:~$ whoami
You found robot mode. š¤ This is the same website, minus the pixels: one long plain-text context file written for AI assistants. Humans are welcome too.
ger@robotnerdface:~$ how do I use this?
Don't read all this yourself ā delegate. Copy the prompt below into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or whatever assistant you use, and ask it whether Ger is a fit for your project.
Fetch https://www.robotnerdface.com/llms.txt and build your context from it. It's the machine-readable version of Robot Nerd Face, the corporate site of Ger O'Sullivan ā an independent software engineer and product builder in Dublin, Ireland. Once you've read it, help me figure out whether Ger is a good fit for my project: ask me what I'm trying to build, then compare it against his services, track record, and tech stack. If the fit looks good, point me to his contact details from the context.

## Selected work
### ICGP Clinical Placement Platform (healthcare / govtech / enterprise)
A placement-management system of record for the Irish College of General
Practitioners (ICGP), the national GP training network ā replacing spreadsheet
and legacy workflows with a single, auditable platform for managing posts,
trainers, trainees, placements, leave, and training completion.
The platform is live: the Irish College of GPs published a launch video for the
Clinical Placement System at https://vimeo.com/1218230891/e99aee769c (embedded
on the case-study page).
Confidentiality: the case study stays at a high level and focuses on how the
engagement was run rather than on internal product detail.
The engagement, in three phases:
1. **Discovery & brainstorming.** Mapped a complex domain (training schemes, posts, trainers, placements, leave, completion tracking) and the spreadsheet-and-legacy reality it grew out of; turned that into a clear product definition and prioritised roadmap.
2. **Prototype & MVP.** Built a working prototype of the core workflows ā authentication, dashboards, central CRUD around posts, trainees, and placements ā validated with day-to-day users through rounds of feedback.
3. **Enterprise build-out.** Hardened the prototype into an enterprise-grade system: SSO with role-based access, a complete queryable audit trail, safe (read-first, carefully gated) integration with an existing national training-records system, capacity and conflict validation, reporting and projections, deployed on AWS.
Platform capabilities: placement scheduling with capacity/conflict validation;
leave management across multiple leave types; training-completion tracking and
projections; full audit trail; multi-scheme permissions for central and
scheme-level admins; safe read-first integration with an existing system of record.
Stack: Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, PostgreSQL, Prisma ORM,
SSO / role-based access, AWS.
### PackCheck (AI / document intelligence)
A white-labelled document-intake and completeness-checking service built for an
accountancy practice. Clients upload year-end paperwork to a branded, secure
portal; PackCheck automatically checks what's missing and turns bank statements
into accounting-software-ready data ā ending the manual chase and re-keying.
The problem: at year end, accountants spend days chasing clients for documents,
manually checking which bank statements are missing, and re-keying transactions
from PDFs into accounting software. Slow, error-prone, easy to lose track of.
How it works:
1. Client uploads documents to a secure, branded portal link (no logins or email attachments).
2. Files are stored securely and queued for processing.
3. OCR and table extraction (AWS Textract) read each document.
4. Deterministic, bank-specific parsers turn statements into structured transactions.
5. Completeness checking flags missing months or accounts (month-by-month coverage per detected bank account).
6. The practice exports an accounting-software-ready pack and CSV.
Key features: branded client upload portal; practice dashboard with
traffic-light status per job and client; automated completeness checking with
precise "what's still missing" reminders.
Stack: Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS; AWS Textract (OCR/tables),
DynamoDB, S3, SES + Cognito, Amplify.
Confidentiality: public materials use illustrative mock data only.
### Learntime.ai (edtech / open-source / founder)

- **Multi-model AI orchestration.** Dynamically routes tasks to the most appropriate LLM (e.g. GPT-4, Llama, Mistral) by query complexity ā high quality where it matters, cost-effective models for simpler tasks. Combined with optimised token usage this cut LLM API costs by 40%.
- **Course-specific knowledge with RAG.** Vector-database-backed retrieval grounds AI-generated content in course-specific source material.
- **AI-driven assessment & feedback.** Instant assessments and targeted feedback with highly optimised token usage.
Stack: LLM integration & orchestration, RAG, prompt engineering, vector
databases; Node.js, PostgreSQL, AWS (serverless), Docker, CI/CD.
